Meet Diane
I believe deeply in the power of StoryWork. My heart is to help others, both men and women uncover and embrace their own stories with honesty and compassion. I draw on training in Narrative Focused Trauma Care® (NFTC) through The Allender Center and have led StoryWork in small groups, one-on-one sessions, and retreats.
I also love creating spaces where people can slow down and connect. Whether I’m preparing a meal, setting a welcoming table, or planning an evening for friends, my aim is the same: to live fully and invite others to do the same.
Home is my favorite place. My husband and I have been married over 28 years, and we have five incredible children and one son-in-law. I love traveling whenever I can, exploring new cultures and landscapes from vibrant city streets to mountain trails, ski slopes, and quiet lakes. Staying active is an important part of my life, whether I am working out, playing tennis, or spending time outdoors.
I believe we are all meant to embrace the journey toward becoming the redeemed people we were created to be, in all our richness and fullness. That invitation is at the heart of everything I offer.
How I Coach
Theology + Psychology
I follow The Allender Center’s model of Narrative Focused Trauma Care. As a StoryWork coach, my work is trauma informed and shaped by the redemptive story of Christ. I support and partner with organizations that integrate biblical truth and clinical insight, creating space for people from all backgrounds to explore their stories.
Mind + Body + Soul
Trauma lives in more than just the mind. I engage the whole person through story work, body awareness, and spiritual reflection. This work invites you into embodied healing that lasts long after our sessions.
Faith + Hope + Love
Nearly all of us carry harm from early life, places where the peace we were meant for was broken. StoryWork invites us to name those wounds and move, step by step, toward Shalom, healing within ourselves and restoring peace with others.
Deep Woundedness + Deep Goodness
Our stories hold both sorrow and beauty. When we name the particularities of our wounds, we begin to see the truth of our stories. In that truth, we can make sense of what has shaped us and move toward the fullness of who we were created to be.
Is this for me?
StoryWork is for everyone, men and women. Anyone who feels stuck, numb, or disconnected from their healthiest, most authentic self.
It’s especially for those who:
Want to explore their personal history, including painful or unresolved experiences.
Have done therapy or counseling but still feel like something’s missing.
Want to understand how their past has shaped their beliefs, behaviors, and relationships.
Long to feel more like themselves, grounded, whole, and authentic.
Sense there’s more to uncover but aren’t sure where to start.
If you’re ready to tell the truth about your story and explore what healing could look like, this is a place to begin.
Your story is sacred.
Healing often starts with one honest conversation about your story.
